
These are the clear guidelines and measures I have already
implemented in my salon to protect employees and customers from
Covid 19 :

Customers must fill out forms with personal information before
booking an appointment, this will be necessary for tracing
purposes in the event of anyone testing positive for Covid 19 who
visited my salon in keeping with HSE Guidelines.

The receptionist’s desk has a perspex screen to prevent Covid
droplets.

For the immediate future I will not accept walk-in clients
-
Everyone will be asked to wear masks, gowns and use hydraulic
gel, disinfectants and disposable gloves.

Clients will be served as quickly as possible and they will be
required to bring their own PPE pack - mask and disposable
gloves to the salon, if they do not come with their PPE pack they
will be charged a separate fee to cover the costs of disposable
equipment.

Clients will be asked to hang up their own coats/jacket.

Hand sanitiser is situated around the salon. They will be asked to
use this when entering the salon and throughout their appointment.

When using the bathroom, I have replaced our hand towels with
disposable hand towels. Upon using one of the disposable hand
towels, clients will be asked to place in the bin within the bathroom.

Our bathroom provides antibacterial soap, so clients will be
reminded to wash their hands regularly during their visit to my
salon

Our team will be working to ensure all gowns, towels, styling
stations, chairs, hairdressing tools, till systems, door handles and
handrails are deep cleaned after every use.

Refreshments will be offered while the client enjoys their
appointment, to ensure they keep hydrated. We will provide
disposable cups to enjoy the beverage of their choice.

If a client is feeling unwell when they arrive for their appointment,
they are asked to make our salon teams aware of their symptoms.

Social distancing will be maintained at all times in my salon and I
will have signage on the floor and on each mirror highlighting and
reminding my clients of this fact.

After each client I will deep clean the seating area occupied by the
client and all equipment used on the client
To ensure this happens I will

Limit the number of customers who will be required to maintain a
minimum distance of two metres between each other, with
frequent disinfection of all areas and equipment.

The wearing of face masks in my hair salon - by both staff and
customers - is obligatory.

I am fully aware that staff training is "fundamental" for individual
protection measures and will undergo any training recommended
to me by government/ hairdressing bodies.
Due to the expected high demand and reduced capacity, my salon
will extend my opening hours and open on days when I am
normally closed to facilitate the needs of my clients for te
immediate future.
In order for me to adhere to government guidelines pertaining to the
COVID19 outbreak, and to ensure my salon is and remains to be a
safe environment for both staff and clients alike, I am asking all
customers to bear in mind the following implementations in
